What will you learn?
This A1.1 course is ideal for foreign residents in Croatia who wish to develop basic communication skills and gain a deeper understanding of the Croatian language and culture.
You will learn how to:
🔹 Introduce yourself and others (alphabet, personal pronouns, verb biti – to be)
🔹 Talk about your origin and interests (nouns in the nominative, vocabulary about places and occupations)
🔹 Describe your family and daily life (possessive pronouns, present tense of verbs ending in -ati, -iti, -jeti)
🔹 Express preferences (accusative case for clothes, food & drink vocabulary)
🔹 Speak about plans and destinations (verb ići, days of the week, useful travel phrases)
🔹 Use modal verbs (znam, mogu, hoću) to express what you know, want, and can do
The course employs a communicative and interactive approach, conducted in small groups, and is led by experienced and supportive instructors.
